East Valley Fire Fighter Charities have teamed up with the Arizona Veterans for the “Arizona StandDown for Veterans” event. We are asking the public to help us support our veterans by dropping off specific items by their local fire station. All fire stations will have boxes in Mesa, Gilbert, Apache Junction, Chandler, the Salt River Indian Community, The Fort McDowell Indian community and Queen Creek.

The specific items we need to support our Veterans are:

  • Packages of new underwear
  • Packages of new socks
  • New sweatpants
  • New or gently used jeans

We are very proud of our efforts to support our Veterans and we look forward to helping those who boldly served our nation at home and abroad. For more information about the Arizona Veterans Stand Down please see their website at: www.arizonastanddown.org
